“The Christian is but a creature, and a weak one, conflicting with enemies stronger than (himself), and therefore, cannot keep the field without an auxiliary strength from heaven.” ~William Gurnall, 1637
God fights for His own.
God is my Defender because I’m defenseless. He’s my Savior because I can’t save myself. He’s my Strength because I’m weak. God never loses a fight, but I’m born to lose without Him.
My privilege as God’s chosen is His power in battle.
Jesus is my Lawyer and Leader: it’s His responsibility to win my argument and my war, not mine. He’s the only Who can answer Satan’s accusations. When Jesus stands for me, my enemies can’t stand. When He takes up my cause, I have no cause to be afraid.
I lose every fight God doesn’t fight. He’s my offense and defense. When God stands between me and my enemy, my battle is already won. Blind soldiers lose battles. If I saw and knew what God sees and knows, I’d know only God is big enough to win my battles.
Self-help is hopeless in spiritual war. God’s help is my only hope to win. God’s chosen fight first from their knees before they stand in battle. If I won’t pray first, I won’t stand later. When I fall on my knees before the Commander of heaven’s armies, no creature can stand against me.
Christ alone conquers. Fights are His to win
Attack Point: Stop fighting like a man. Start fighting like a saint.

Good Evening, Doc!
Yes, there's a life-changing difference between asking the Lord to make me strong and asking Him to BE my Strength.
I hope today's Bootprint clearly communicates that ... because leveling up my strength AIN'T the answer!
