“You always need divine protection, and, believer in Christ, you shall always have it.” ~C.H. Spurgeon, 1869
God guards the godly.
Not everyone gets guardian angels. Not everyone is guaranteed God’s protection.
God guards the godly to show His goodness and to prove His greatness. God guards His priests: He protects His people. When I stand in awe of God, He stands guard over me. When I devote myself to looking up to Him, He devotes Himself to looking after me.
Like rays of sunshine poke through the clouds, God pitches His tent and pounds in its stakes to protect the godly. When God protects me, my circumstances don’t matter because He surrounds me. No matter where I’m ‘camped,’ God pitches His tent with me. And wherever God leads me, He’ll certainly guard me.
The ungodly man is unguarded. He’s unprotected from the devil and mortal danger. He stands apart from God’s protection. The godless travel unguarded roads. They walk unprotected paths. The ‘camp’ in dangerous places. For men who won’t fear God forfeit the blessing of His protection: they give up God’s gifts of grace.
When my conscience is good and God governs my mind, God turns my focus from danger to deliverance. He saves then sets me free!
How God chooses to guard me isn’t my business. It’s His. Because God promises to guard me, I can rest in the promise that I am guarded.
Attack Point: Don’t ‘camp’ without a guard. Belong to God and be protected!

He does! He protects us in all things, even during the ‘discipline time’ we all receive. I’ve listened to non-believers ridicule we believers for being weak, for not being able to stand up for ourselves in this life. We can and do in certain things, but one can be strong and utterly understand that God protects us in the things that matter…all of them!🙏
