I refuse to “fear” God. If that damns me… so be it. I believe He is a compassionate entity and would rather have my LOVE towards Him than my FEAR of him. I am a poor excuse for a human, even though I strive to be like His Son, I cannot connect to do so.
I fear no man and although I am human and may at times show some signs of fear of others… we’re all dying and that is my Fate also. So, the marks of fear and dying are fleeting and will pass… as God has guided my Fate up to this point.
I say to those many who tried to remove me from this planet… “You missed!” Not because of my abilities, but because of God’s decisions.
Rather, I do “love” and have undying esteem and admiration for God as the Highest form of Intelligence, Being, Creator and Judge of we miserable humans… as he is the “Master of My Fate” and He will do with me whatever He pleases… that no mortal man can here or in the Afterlife. I am resigned to that Fate of His judgement.

“First they came for the Communists, And I did not speak out, Because I was not a Communist… Then they came for the Socialists, And I did not speak out, Because I was not a Socialist… Then they came for the trade unionists, And I did not speak out, Because I was not a trade unionist… Then they came for the Jews, And I did not speak out, Because I was not a Jew… Then they came for me, And there was no one left, To speak out for me“ - Pastor Martin Niemoller
Well, actually, I’d say most of the problems would be solved after they take all the Communists and Socialists. Then the Fake and False Khazarian Ashkenazi Jews… who have no ancient Hebrew DNA, control a good share of world finances and almost all man-made events and pull all the rest of humanity around by their noses. Evil A Holes and all the above are not human. That would leave the good Hasidic Jews, like my Wife and her Family – Author Jack Lawson

Good Evening, Sir! I read your reply a couple of times, and what I sensed when I read it the first time was confirmed the second time:
You have a better grip on godly 'fear' than you may realize!
In a sense, you are indeed correct. The New Testament is filled with instruction and encouragement to NOT fear (2 Timothy 1:7; 1 John 4:18, etc.). The side of fear that you mention is the other side of a 2-sided coin. I discussed one side today, the side we mainly ignore. You mentioned the other!
You wrote, "I do “love” and have undying esteem and admiration for God ..." That is the foundation of godly fear! It's rooted in love for Him and His compassion for us. And I know that if God were to appear you like He did to Moses on Mt. Sinai, you would respond like any seasoned combatant who deeply respects raw power would: with due reverence and healthy fright.
If you haven't already, I encourage you to tap on the Scripture links listed in the post. I'm confident you'll see 'both sides of the coin.'
Thank You for sending your message and putting into words what others are likely thinking.
I truly cannot believe people who address God as their buddy. I’m way too fearful of His godly standard to do anything but fall on my face with shame. He created everything we’ve ever known. He is not to be minimized!
I thought of R.C. Sproul and what he told many Ligonier Conference attendees about how people would react if Jesus physically appeared to them.
To your point, R.C. was never very happy in telling of how people ‘think’ they'd respond. 🙄 😳 He usually ended his comments with a rhetorical question:
I do, too….we have been going through a number of his series in our church group….one of the great things about technology is that we can still benefit from the gifts God gave him! Brilliant, down to earth attitude and such common sense!!
I watch him regularly online. Timeless teaching. Really.
John MacArthur has said more than once that Dr. Sproul is the most influential Evangelical theologian since Spurgeon. It's hard to argue with that assessment. I can think of some preachers and teachers that might be more polished speakers, but I can't think of any who have had more influence than R.C. Sproul. What he did to defend the Christian faith in the 20th century is simply unparalleled.
What's so admirable about Dr. Sproul is that he never acted like it, ever. 😉
