I did not remember hearing about either man before, but what a great thought on fear. Thank you for reminding us that fear is also to be strong. I think fear and depression often go hand-in-hand.
Thank you reminding us about the other side of fear. Jack and his closest cousin, Murphy, appear to take turns. With God, we ‘know’ and fear is banished to the back! God’s grace and protection is difficult to imagine.

'Fear' is a tricky word in Scripture, mainly because it's a complicated emotion for us. You could say that there are "lots of different views on the same parts." But what I love about Scripture is that all of those parts resolve in the Person of Jesus. The "stormy seas" become "calm at His word." Going back to yesterday's message, Jesus is the means AND the end to dealing with fear. He is really IS Alpha and Omega!
