“(God) might, if He had pleased, have made everything we tasted bitter, everything we saw loathsome, everything we touched a sting, every smell a stench, every sound a discord.” ~William Paley, 1802
God loves morality and mercy.
The mystery of God is that He is morally pure and perfectly merciful at the same time. His moral purity demands I be judged, but His compassion moves Him to take pity on me. Only God’s mercy can release me from sin’s misery.
The miracle of God is that His morality motivates Him to be merciful. Without God’s mercy, I can’t survive His justice. His mercy moves Him to make a way to avoid His justice.
God delights in being right and showing mercy to me when I find my joy in Him. God loves to make His mercy known to everyone everywhere always. God’s mercy is everywhere! It’s how He shows us His love. God judges my soul from a place of moral purity: my fate is decided by how I respond to His mercy.
God loves morality and mercy because they bring Him glory. He’s promoted when He pities me and when I praise Him.
I can know only one of two experiences with God. I can know God’s mercy through Jesus’ shed blood, or I can know God’s justice without the blood of Jesus.
For the God of Love will never be merciful at the expense of His morality.
Attack Point: Find your joy in Jesus and avoid God’s justice!

Except for God’s grace and gift of Jesus, we would never reach the mark of God’s goodness. He’s given even a fallen creation many gifts and much beauty to shine through the consequences of Adam’s decision, yet without Jesus’ payment, we would face eternal judgment.
Thank you and have a blessed weekend.🙏
