Except for God’s grace and gift of Jesus, we would never reach the mark of God’s goodness. He’s given even a fallen creation many gifts and much beauty to shine through the consequences of Adam’s decision, yet without Jesus’ payment, we would face eternal judgment.
Living in Colorado, I'm surrounded by the very things you mention. It's impossible to look out my back door at the mountains, much less go for a drive along mountain roads, and not be staggered by the beauty of Divine creation and the gifts of God's mercy in nature!
In "Mere Christianity," C.S. Lewis wrote that the 'Moral Law' is written on the hearts of all men, and that the moral 'Lawgiver' is God Himself. That's a nice of take on Romans 1:18-20, and it leaves NO ONE with an excuse on Judgment Day.
