Brother, what a needed and powerful reminder. I’m especially struck by the line, “Magnifying God begins in my mind, not with my manners.” That’s rich with conviction and clarity. Psalm 34:3 says, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together” (ESV)—and your words call us to do just that, not just in private but publicly and passionately. May our lives echo the reality that God truly is the biggest deal. Thank you for this stirring call to wholehearted worship!
Good Evening, Brother! It just so happens that I anchored this Bootprint on Psalm 34:3. You don't me to list Scripture references at all! 🤣😉
Seriously, though, Thank You for clipping that thought and highlighting it. After I scribbled it on my paper this morning, I stopped ... out of conviction. I thought, "How many times have I prayed or sang or taught about the glory of God in church with my words and not my heart? How many times have I done the same thing in the private?" That line grabbed my attention, and it's been on my mind all day.
Magnifying Jesus as He deserves to be is really a big deal. It's the most important thing we'll do this side of heaven!
Absolutely, brother. I saw that verse in your powerful list of references, and it really ministered to me. Praise God that we can worship Him now—and forevermore when we’re finally home with Him for all eternity.
I have to confess: Though I shouldn't be, I'm still pleasantly surprised when that reference list takes me back to the Pentateuch and more than not ends in Revelation. And it happens every day! The consistency of God's messages in His Word is simply staggering!
And, I'm really glad God is patiently repetitive in His messaging, because I'm really slow and stubborn when it comes to 'picking up what He's layin' down most of the time!' 🤦♂️😲😉
I'm really looking forward to heaven, if for no other reason than to be able to praise Him like I want without my sin getting in the way!
Our strength ‘When Jesus is a big deal to me, I’ll want to be around others who think He is as well!’ This is also our greatest weakness as we are often attacked for acknowledging Jesus’ importance I. Our daily life! Thank You for the reminder! God bless all of your efforts….you are much appreciated!
I've been burdened lately with what I'm convinced is an urgent need for the Body of Christ to pray and praise the Lord as He deserves to be sought and sang to corporately. The Word of God is filled with activity and events only God can accomplish when His people gathered in His name to earnestly pray and sincerely praise Him! 2 Chronicles 20 comes to mind. 😎
Thank You for being a bright spot in my day, every day. I appreciate you!
